After F.B.I. agent Jack Taggart looses his best friend to the hands of a corrupt toxic dump coverup, he decides to visit the town and find out what he can about the coverup. In the process he is met by unfriendly town folk who are being paid to keep the dumping secret. With the help of an old man and a young woman, he takes on the corporate head of the toxic dumping with a vengeance.
So goes the plot of Fire Down Below where Stephen Segal, gun-averse & all enviornmentally-friendly, pummels all around without compunction. The best part of this movie is the opening sequence where Segal pilots his Aviat Husky at low level around the hills and valleys of Kentucky. It's a wonderful piece of real world flying that makes me want to get back in the cockpit. Despite the nice landing, once the wheels hit the ground switch off the DVD and bring it back to the video rental store.
